Shamelessly cut/pasted from an earlier post by Clubberlane:

While Voracity doesn't have any required addons, this is a small list of addons that are strongly recommended.

1) Threat Meter
Omen - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9101/

This one is straightforward. Allows you to see how close you are to taking aggro in a fight.

2) Debuff Removal Tool
Smart Debuff - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2071/
Decursive - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3011/

These make the lives of a class with a debuff removal much easier. I strongly recommend any paladin, druid, mage (yes mages), or shaman to get one of these. What is does is create a box on your screen that lights up when someone is afflicted with a debuff you can remove. All you have to do is click the box and you will remove the debuff. I use Smart Debuff personally. It comes with Smart Buff which I just turn off.

3) Boss Mods
BigWigs - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3299/
Deadly Boss Mods - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4940/

These will broadcast useful information during boss fights. Some find it useful. I run Bigwigs, but I think both do pretty much the same thing.

EDIT

4) Damage Meter
There are a variety of tools for this purpose. As a guild, most of us use:
Recount -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/recount.aspx

This add-on is a must-have for anyone who is a DPS class and wishes to become a "Knight" raiding on a consistent basis. I must stress that this tool should be used as a general measure of performace. It is important to know if a DPS toon is producing the appropriate level of damage....just as important as a tank with the proper level of defense and a healer with the proper level of spell bonus.

Depending on specific raid roles, one person's DPS will vary against another. So, comparing one toon's DPS against another is not tolerated..ie, no spamming of meter totals in any chat window.
At the same time, this can be used as an educational tool. If two toons of the same class are producing different levels of damage while performing the same raid role, there is an opprotunity to learn what is causing the difference. Simple changes to enchants, gems, talent spec or spell rotation could help a player increase their DPS by a substantial amount.
Raid Leaders and Officers are more than willing to offer suggestions to improve damage output.

In some cases, particularly in new instances, a raid leader may ask for a certain DPS level. This tool will inform the player if their toon is producing the needed DPS.

5) Ventrilo
Although not an addon, this is a highly useful voice/chat program for raiding. The ability to communicate quickly using this product is far superior to typing commands in raid chat. Having a microphone and talking is not required, but listening to the raid leader and main tank is essential to any sort of raid coordination. The client software can be found at:

http://www.ventrilo.com

Specific channel information for ventrilo setup is provided on the in-game guild information tab.

Be advised Bliz has changed some of the rules for add on creators who are trying to charge/profit from their add ons ... no clear sign any of the big ones will go away but ...
